Course - Bachelor of Computer Application(B.C.A.)

Who should be Applying for the Program? 

• 10+2 passed students willing to learn fundamental concepts of computers, Business environments & application of IT in Business, Database management, Software Development, various computer programming languages, frameworks, Operating Systems, Web-Scripting & Development, etc. and become a part of sectors like IT/ITeS, E-Commerce, Retail, Manufacturing, Govt. Organizations, etc.
• Those who want to become employable IT workforce, with a sound knowledge of IT and business fundamentals that can be applied to develop and customize solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME).
• BCA course is a common degree for CS/IT in India and is an alternative to the engineering counterpart, BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT which takes 4 years that can be pursued in 3 years.

Eligibility

• Any student who has has passed PUC-II science or commerce securing a minimum of 35% of marks.
• Any student who has passed JOC or Diploma in Engg. (of three year duration of Govt. of Karnataka with minimum of 35% of marks in aggregation in all the semester/year.)
